I’m a Magpie
“Tabbies in the air” are canonical, right? (Cats inspired by Angelica and Tom Clark’s menagerie) |
I'm a librarian. Special skills include dog charming, brochure writing, slapdash cooking and long-winded nattering. I also enjoy watching the sunset's reflection in the tall buildings downtown.
For a while there, I taught classes on Classical literature, philosophy, and the history of religion at New College of California. I have an MA and an MFA in Writing, and live on a boat in Sausalito, CA.

The cat image is inspired and oh yeah the DeBanjo’s had nothing to do with it!

I love the way you split the cat between two frames, kinda presages that it is going to be a big cat.

The deBanjo cats continually inspire. I think the cat above looks like Rosie, Etaioin, and Porcupine all together.

A brilliant rendition of feline body language here, Nora. Momeester is completely right as always. That slinky arching of the body over frames two and three is a mark of genius.
Nora, obviously you are of that race of fine folk cats have the ability to suss from a great distance — the people they can count on to be their infinitely loyal servants.
